Fails hard.. As much as I've played, this is what I wish super meat boy was like and you can see the similarities from the trailers. Amazing music, movement controls and it only took me 30 seconds to learn all the controls. The best part is that it makes dying useful and fun, unlike super meat boy.Definitely reccomend, 9/10.. If you're into platformers either hardcore or casually you'll love thisYou can beat the game without dying or use dead bodies if you're not so good. Great value for the price, i've just started and i don't plan on stopping until i get every level with 0 death which will take quite a few hours.Also has an amazing soundtrack by a godlike grime producer, what more can you ask for fam??. He really should have brought Rude Boar instead.. The idea and the art I like a lot...that being said the controls are horrific. The frame rate plumets when you run. The controls it tells you to press are half playstation buttons. Example:If you go to the marathon screen you have to ctrl+alt+del your way out of the game unless you have a controller. It says press circle to leave... I wouldn't pay full price for this game, maybe 5 bucks...maybe However I do like the animations and the blood explosions are cool effects.. This is not a game that you beat on your first try, or your 100th. You will die... lots.But it's just so damn good. Hand crafted levels, pushing your limits to the extreme.Get this now, hang on tight and prepare for the roughest ride of your life.. key remapping is limited and I was not able to utilise the number pad correctly. Neither was I able to quit the game without manually alt tabbing out and closing it. As a left handed player these issues with control, especially in a twitchy platformer, make the game unplayable for me. It's a pity because RBR actually has some decent innovations such as the strategic placement of your own corpses for progression (yes you read that right). I'm not a fan of platformers anyway so a right handed person who doesn't have any issues with the controls and who loves platform games might like this game. i.e. someone who is not me.Since it IS me writing this review I can summarise with "nice potential spoiled by unfluid controls and the lack of a proper key remap".
